Biography

Brian Heppard, MD is a geriatrician at the University of Rochester. He completed residency and chief residency in Family Medicine followed by a clinical geriatrics fellowship, before joining the U of R faculty in July 2001. He is primarily a clinical geriatrician caring for older adults in the office, inpatient geriatric unit and in several assisted living facilites. His special interests are in home care and house calls for older adults, and undergraduate medical education curriculum development on geriatric themes. He brings his knowledge of care of older adults in multiple settings to the CFH Aging Well Consortium, and the wearable monitor program in particular.
