NEWSWendi Heinzelman receives the G. Graydon Curtis '58 and Jane W. Curtis AwardAt the May 18, 2003 Commencement ceremony for University of Rochester graduates in the College of Arts, Sciences, and Engineering Wendi Heinzelman, Assistant Professor of electrical and computer engineering and computer science, received the G. Graydon '58 and Jane W. Curtis Award for Excellence in Teaching by a Non-tenured Member of the Faculty. She is the 11th recipient, in as many years, of this prestigious award. Since joining the faculty two years ago, Heinzelman has created two courses in the specialized field of wireless communications and digital signal processing. She is the recipient of fellowships from the Eastman Kodak Company and the National Science Foundation.
