HEALTH CARE SUPPORT FOR DEVELOPING NATIONS AND UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES

This consortium focuses on the development of portable, low cost, easy to use technology that can provide a wide range of medical administration and education services in a rural or village setting. Current projects include:


LINCOS (Little Intelligent Communities) Project. Provides sustainable wireless technology and Internet access for telemedicine, health education, agricultural science, and access to the global economy. Currently deployed in Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic.
