I am very excited that through the highly collaborative environment of the Center we are able to take our understanding of nanometer-scale materials physics and use it for the development of novel biological sensors.

Biography

Todd Krauss has over 11 years experience in the general area of nano-materials science including CdSe, PbS, and PbSe nanocrystal and carbon nanotube materials, ultrafast optical spectroscopy, single molecule optical spectroscopy, and scanning probe microscopy. Krauss' research at the Center for Future Health currently involves the use of semiconductor nanocrystals as active materials for biological sensor applications.
