Medical and Community Validation for Proactive Health Systems
The Center for Future Health conducts independent research addressing the behavioral, social, and organizational needs for a Proactive Health Community. This includes:
- Community-wide translational research
- Medical community adoption barriers
- Reduction of disparities
Working with CFH clinical researchers enables you to validate your medical technologies and systems in clinical or community venues. The University of Rochester Medical Center has received the American Association of Medical Colleges highest award for its focus on community health, an indication of the breadth of outreach settings university researchers can access.
Evaluate Systems in Self-care, Home Care and Mobile Care
Test concepts for medical effectiveness at our Smart Medical Home Research Lab. We enable you to try out ideas with target users before any major investment is made.
Evaluate prototypes in consumer settings. University clinical researchers have access to over 350,000 patients in the upstate NY and northern Pennsylvania area and the retirement home communities of the New York and National Association of Homes and Services for the Aging. A proven track record, the Medical Center has received the American Association of Medical Colleges award for its focus on community health.
