The images on this page illustrate the current research interests of Prof. Wolfs. His group has been involved in the search for dark matter, using the Zeplin II detector which operated in the Boulby mine in the UK. Currently, the group is responsible for the trigger electronics for the Large Underground Xenon (LUX) detector which will be installed at the Sanford Underground Science and Engineering Laboratory (SUSEL) in South Dakota.

The electronics developed for the dark-matter experiments is also being used for educational outreach: see for example our on-line muon lifetime experiment at http://wolfspc.pas.rochester.edu/Muon/DAQ.html.
